Currently technology integration is a challenge for me. I have very limited access to technology myself and for my students. Currently I use the computer with the students but only for Accelerated Reader testing. I don't have any computers in my class for the students to use. I require the majority of my projects to be typed, but all of the computer work is done at home. I would love to integrated more technology but the resources to do so aren't available to me.
Society is moving towards the dramatic use of technology in many various ways. Due to this fact, I want to show my students as many forms of technology as I can. I plan to look for grants that I can use to increase the forms of technology in my classroom ultimately to improve the students' learning.
I think technology can be our friend, if we are open to it!
